For Theft or Damage that is beyond repair you will receive a credit note from Jumbo Electronics for the value of your product after deducting the depreciation value given in the table below. This credit note can be redeemed at any Jumbo Electronics retail stores within a maximum period of six (6) months from the date of its issue.

For damage that is repairable: Jumbo Electronics will repair the product and the customer will have to bear a nominal value of 20% of the total cost of repair, which will include the cost of spare parts and labour.
Note:
- Jumbo Electronics Service Centre’s assessment of whether the product is repairable or the cost of repair shall be final and irrevocable.
- The credit note cannot be redeemed in part. In the event of its use for purchases less than the value of the credit note, the unutilized portion will lapse. No renewal or refund of cash, either in part or whole, is allowed against the credit note.
- Jumbo Electronics reserves the right to require adequate proof (e.g. police & civil defense report) of the loss or damage at its discretion. Decision of Jumbo Electronics shall be final.

In addition to the service warranty offered by the distributor or the manufacturer, we offer you this additional protection, free of cost. Your purchase is automatically protected against theft and certain cases of unintentional damage to the product due to: a. Robbery b. Riot or Strike (as recognized by local police) c. Fire: House, Car and Office d. Certain cases of Accidental Damages (negligence or damage due to water will not be covered)

For stolen items, please bring the original police report in support of your claim. For cases of loss due to fire or accident, please bring original report from the relevant Civil Defense Department. In any case, please ensure you bring your original receipt or invoice as proof of purchase. However conditions apply on exceptional cases.
