The 2018 iPad Pro features a USB Type-C port, which widens its compatibility with other devices. The HyperDrive features an HDMI port that supports up to a 4K display, an UHS-I SD and microSD card reader, a 3.5mm audio jack, as well as USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A and Type-C ports.

A removable grip is included with the hub to help separate it a bit from the iPad, making it compatible with cases and other accessories.

Please note that while this adapter does support 4K / 30 Hz HDMI output as well as 60W power delivery via Type-C, these values will be 2K / 60 Hz and 30W respectively when used with the iPad Pro
