The next generation smartphones pack in a whole lot of features to keep you engaged and entertained. Here are some of the most anticipated smartphones for 2022.

iPhone 14

The rumour mills have been abuzz about the changing sizes of the iPhone in 2022. Going forward, Apple is supposedly planning to focus on launching larger iPhone sizes. Many are expecting to see a 6.1-inch iPhone 14, a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, and a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. The 5.4-inch iPhone 14 mini won’t make it as it was not really popular with customers.

For a while now iPhones with Face ID have had a notch at the front as part of their overall design. This could potentially change with the iPhone Pro models eliminating this notch for a new design.

Apple is also expected to introduce new colour options, perhaps even a purple variant. For the most part there may not be any significant design changes but the camera bumps for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro could become thicker.

The iPhone 14 Pro models could get a new body and be encased in a titanium frame instead of the regular stainless-steel frame. Apple could also use Qualcomm's Snapdragon X65 chip for faster connectivity and could introduce new satellite-based emergency features.

It is believed that one is for the front camera and the second one is for face ID support. The rear panel indicates three camera lenses coupled with an LED flash. Phone 14 Pro Max will be powered by an A14 or 16 Bionic chipset, which is Apple's latest chip.
