Jumbo #shutterbugs2023 Photo Contest

Please read these rules before submitting your photo(s) to #shutterbugs2023 Photo Contest. By participating in the contest, you understand, acknowledge, and unconditionally agree to abide by the below rules. 

General Rules

1. The contest is a skill-based competition in which participants are required to upload pictures on their Instagram profile with “Cityscape” or “Landscape” theme. Tag @jumboworld and use #shutterbugs2023. Both #shutterbugs2023 and @jumboworld tags are mandatory, failing which the entry will be disqualified. 
2. Participants will have to mention the idea or details about the uploaded picture in the photo caption along with the name of the camera and the lenses used. Tagging @jumboworld and using #shutterbugs2023 is mandatory. 
3. After uploading the entries, participants will have to fill in the correct details on www.jumbo.ae/shutterbugs/contest to formally register into the competition.
4. Top 25 entries will qualify for the finals, and they will be selected by one of UAE’s top photographers, Mr. Ihsan Salhia (@tgfdubai). These 25 finalists will get a chance to attend a workshop & photo walk on Sunday, 17th December’23, from which 1 mega winner will be announced by 19th December 2023.
5. If any finalist fails to attend the final workshop & photo walk due to any circumstance, the entry will be disqualified. 
6. Basic editing, including colour enhancement, the use of filters and cropping of photo(s) is acceptable, provided any such editing does not affect the authenticity and/or genuineness of the photo(s).
7. Advanced editing used to create illusions, deceptions and/or manipulations and the adding and removing of significant elements within the frame is prohibited.
8. Photos that portray or otherwise include inappropriate and/or offensive content deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural, and moral traditions and practices of the UAE are strictly prohibited. 
9. The contest is open to all UAE residents and free of cost. 
10. Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses. 
11. The participant’s Instagram profile will be checked to authenticate the photos. 
12. You may submit as many entries as you wish. 
13. Jumbo Electronics LLC has the right to change the rules, regulation, terms, and conditions throughout the duration of the contest.
14. The winner will be informed via a phone call and email by our customer service department. Winners may be asked to share a copy of their Emirates ID for verification purpose.  Please ensure you are giving your correct contact details during signing up.
15. Standard Jumbo Terms & Conditions apply.  In the event of any dispute, the decision of Jumbo Electronics LLC will be final, and binding and no discussion will be entered. 

The Judgement  

1. All the photo entries submitted until 7th December 2023 will be judged by Mr. Ihsan Salhia (@tgfromdubai). 
2. Out of all the entries submitted until 7th December, the top 25 will be shortlisted & invited for a workshop and photo-walk session hosted by Mr.Ihsan Salhia on 17th December 2023.
3. The final winner of the contest will be announced by 19th December 2023.
4. The decision by the judge & Jumbo Electronics will be final and binding on all participants. 
5. Jumbo electronics has the right to call for the original files for the purpose of authentication. The photo submitted can be disregarded by Jumbo if this information cannot be provided.

The Prize

1. The winner will be rewarded with unconditional Jumbo Voucher worth AED 5000.
